Brief evening lighting disruptions in JOR/POD May 8-20

As previously communicated in October, Facilities Management and Development (“Facilities”) is overseeing upgrades to the ceiling lighting in all spaces in Jorgenson Hall (JOR) and the Podium Building (POD). 

To complete the work, electrical technicians will be testing the lighting panels and breakers in both buildings between Friday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 20, with portions of each floor in both buildings without lighting for brief periods of less than five (5) minutes. Emergency lighting will continue to function during the brief lighting disruptions.

Disruption details

JOR: Between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. from Friday, May 8 to Thursday, May 14

POD: Between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. from Friday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 20
