Temporary access restriction to east Bond Street sidewalk April 28-30

April 27, 2026

As previously shared, TMU is set to open a new 21-storey student residence on Bond Street and Dundas Street East that is targeted for completion in 2030. To prepare for the required demolition of the site, Enbridge personnel will be hoarding off a portion of the east Bond Street sidewalk between Dundas Street East and Gould Street from April 28 to April 30 to temporarily disconnect utilities from buildings on the west side of Bond Street.

How this may impact you

From April 28 to April 30, access to a portion of the east Bond Street sidewalk in front of 105 Bond Street (SBB) and 80 Dundas Street East will be restricted and community members may experience increased noise in areas closest to the work. Access to the loading dock at 105 Bond Street will also be temporarily restricted.

There will also be a higher volume of vehicular traffic along Bond Street and a reduction in available street parking while building utilities are being disconnected. Enbridge will have flag personnel on site to direct traffic and manage pedestrian flow.
