KHE accessible ramp out of service April 30 - May 1

Facilities Management and Development (“Facilities”) is overseeing the replacement of windows in Kerr Hall North (KHN) and Kerr Hall East (KHE) as they have reached the end of their service life. To install new windows that will improve temperature control in rooms in KHN and KHE, contractors will temporarily disconnect ducts penetrating the window in KHE-211. 

To complete the work, a scissor lift will be positioned at the top of the entrance and accessible ramp at the Gerrard Street East/Church Street entrance to KHN and KHE at 340 Church Street, with access to the entrance and ramp unavailable from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. 

How this may impact you

The entrance and accessible ramp from Gerrard Street East/Church Street to KHN and KHE at 340 Church Street will be out of service from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. Alternate accessible entrances to KHN and KHE include:

• The KHN entrance to 43 Gerrard Street East under the archway at the north end of the Quad 
• The KHN entrance to 43 Gerrard Street East in the northeast interior corner of the Quad
• The KHE entrance to 340 Church Street in the northeast interior corner of the Quad

There will also be some temporary noise disruptions affecting the areas closest to the work.
