Large Sharps Disposal Containers

A large sharps disposal container is mounted on the wall next to a standard-size container in a Kerr Hall washroom.

All campus washrooms have standard-size sharps disposal bins that are suitable for lancets, blades, needles, syringes, or other injection devices.

Large sharps containers are currently available in washrooms on the first floor of Kerr Hall North, between two accessible entrances to the building.

These larger containers are suitable for the disposal of sharps and personal medical equipment that is too large for a standard-sized bin. For example, sharps that are integrated with medical tubing such as catheters or medication infusion systems, or some types of autoinjectors.
