Cleaning service requests

We take pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, both inside TMU-owned buildings and across campus grounds. If you notice a spill or have concerns about cleanliness anywhere on campus, please let us know by contacting the Facilities Help Desk (“Fixit”) by completing our  (google form) Cleaning Services Request (external link)  form.

Our staff complete a wide range of tasks on a defined schedule.

During the day, our custodial and groundskeeping crews take care of light cleaning duties such as washroom checks, spot-cleaning and restocking dispensers. Our daytime porter crew continually circulates through our buildings and responds to your immediate custodial needs during our buildings’ regular operational hours, including spills, litter clean-up, trash and debris removal.

The overnight caretakers complete tasks that would be disruptive during regular operational hours, such as vacuuming, mopping and floor polishing.

Spills involving chemicals or other hazardous materials
