Shop the SLC is looking for vendors!
Are you a student entrepreneur or TMU community member with a business, good, or service you would like to share? Whether you’re just trying things out, growing a new business, or looking to connect your established brand with the TMU community, Shop the SLC is the perfect place to showcase your goods and services in one of TMU’s busiest buildings on campus.
Shop the SLC is a vibrant marketplace that brings together a diverse mix of talent, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to create an event that inspires, supports, and connects entrepreneurs across TMU.
And the best part? It’s free for TMU community members to participate!
Who Can Apply?
Vendors of all kinds are welcome! Some past vendors have offered:
- Character drawings
- Henna service
- Thrift clothing and accessories
- Skin and body care
- Handmade Jewelry
- Prints and designs
- Arts and crafts
- Tarot card readings
- Sustainable products
- And so much more!

External Applications:
Applications are open to external community members who have been referred by a TMU member. Those applying as a TMU Alumni or a Friend of TMU (a referred vendor who is not a student, staff or faculty) will pay a fee of $150 for their booth. This fee helps our team at the Student Learning Centre continue to support student-focused activities, events, and projects that engage the TMU community and enhance the student experience.
By inviting vendors beyond the student, staff and faculty community we aim to expand the Shop the SLC network to bring in established entrepreneurs to connect with students. If you know a vendor that would be a good fit, send them the link to the vendor application form! When filling out the form, outside vendors must provide a TMU contact with a TMU email address as a referral.
