Student Learning Centre

The Sheldon & Tracy Levy Student Learning Centre (SLC) is an iconic structure in the heart of Toronto and the symbolic “front door” of the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) campus—a world-class learning destination for the university community.

Entering the SLC

To enter the SLC, you will need:

  • a valid TMU OneCard.
  • All exterior campus building doors are locked and require a OneCard to gain access to the interior of campus buildings. This means that all incoming students (or returning students who may not have accessed campus previously) must apply for their OneCard as soon as possible.

Stay up to date on the SLC’s Instagram @slctorontomet (external link)  where we provide new updates and information as we have it!

If you have any questions, please email slchelp@torontomu.ca (opens in new window)  and a staff member will be in touch with you.

Although masking will no longer be a requirement of attendance on campus, the university strongly recommends that all staff, students, faculty, visitors and contractors continue to wear a mask or face covering while indoors to limit the transmission of COVID-19. The university continues to actively monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our city and province. We will be nimble in responding to changes, and in planning for the future. The university may need to reinstate COVID-19 protocol, such as requirements for vaccinations, masking, and physical distancing should public health indicators change.
