Study, Learning and Transitioning into University
Backstage Pass is a podcast, external link and eLearning project for people who are thinking about going to university.
This is a project about identity and access. It starts with the idea that different people face different barriers when it comes to higher education, and university doesn’t always look the way that we’re taught to imagine it.
First-generation students, mature students, and students from equity-deserving groups often don’t have access to the same privileges, tools, and supports as students who don’t belong to these identity groups.
The goal of this project is to provide tools, guidance, and student perspectives to make university more accessible to all kinds of people. Backstage Pass is a resource for people who are thinking about going to university, but it includes tools and background information to support students at various stages of transitioning to higher education.
