How it Works

Get Clear is a three-part workshop series designed to support your academic journey throughout the semester. In this program you will: 

  • Explore your academic strengths and challenges
  • Learn strategies to improve your academic performance
  • Develop a plan for your semester
  • Get support throughout the semester
    • one-on-one advising and mentorship support
    • virtual online meetups and accountability group
  • Be part of a community of peers 
  • Gain a sense of self-confidence and empowerment!


Winter 2023 Dates Get Clear Session Dates

Part I: Planning for your semester - VIRTUAL

  • Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm OR
  • Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Part 2:  Choose your own (learning) adventure -VIRTUAL/IN-PERSON 

Attend one (or many!) of Study Skills and Transition Support’s core academic skills workshops throughout February and March. 

Part 3: Looking towards next semester and beyond - VIRTUAL

  • Tuesday, March 21, 2023  from 1:30pm to 3:30pm OR
  • Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Note: the Get Clear program does not run during the Spring/Summer semester.
