Welcome to Lead & Learn

Lead & Learn is the official newsletter from TMU Leadership, part of Student Life & Campus Engagement (SLCE). Developed to support students in their leadership journeys, Lead & Learn highlights opportunities to build skills aligned with TMU’s six Leadership Pillars: Personal Leadership, Communication, Self-Awareness & Development, Civic Responsibility, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and Teamwork & Cooperation. The newsletter is grounded in the belief that every student has the potential to lead and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Lead & Learn is delivered in two formats, designed to keep students informed, engaged, and empowered:

• 🗓️ Monthly Roundup: A curated overview of upcoming events, leadership opportunities, workshops, and student stories from across the TMU community. The Monthly Roundup helps students stay connected and discover new ways to get involved.
• 🗞️ Level Up Newsletter: A bi-weekly feature focused on TMU’s Level Up leadership badges. Each issue highlights one badge, offering actionable strategies to develop core leadership skills and earn micro-credentials that can be showcased on platforms like LinkedIn.
