May Haithem

Career Education Specialist, Yeates School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

May is an Employment Specialist with 5+ years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. She has expertise in a range of services including settlement, case management, coordination, and career coaching. Specialized in training, utilizing marketing tools, and developing career strategies, May assisted job seekers, including youth, Internationally Trained Professionals from various sectors and more, obtain meaningful and sector-specific employment. 

Her most recent experience is with ACCES Employment where she worked with Internationally Trained Engineers and IT professionals in bridging programs by providing 1:1 coaching as well as training workshops to help them navigate and understand the Canadian job market and establish effective strategies to implement during their job search process. May holds a Master of Science in Business Psychology where her thesis focused on the correlation between Leadership Styles and Emotional Intelligence.
