Postdoc Challenge: Your Vision, Your Future

As a postdoctoral fellow at TMU, we invite you to envision the future impact of your research or creative work. Show us your unique, original vision of how your work will create change in your field, community or the world in a short video or audio clip (max. 60 seconds).
Entry details
Submissions must consist entirely of your original ideas and content, and licensed material only. Public domain content (e.g., via Creative Commons (external link) ) must include appropriate attribution (external link) .
Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Clear description of your research/creative impact
- Original thinking and creative execution
- Reference to your TMU postdoctoral experience
Prizes are awarded at the judges’ discretion:
- Up to 3 winners: $500 value each
- Up to 2 honourable mentions: $200 value each

Waiver, indemnity and release
By entering this challenge, entrants declare that they are the sole creator of their work and have obtained licenses to use copyrighted material. Entrants acknowledge that Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) owns all rights to the words, images, illustrations and recordings. Entrants grant permission to TMU and its representatives the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast and distribute their words, images, illustrations and recordings in any media now known or later developed for promoting, publicizing or explaining TMU and its activities and for administrative, educational or research purposes.
Entrants agree to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless TMU, its Board of Governors, officers, employees or agents from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the words, images, recordings or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution.
