Graduate Thriving in Action (GTiA): Micro-Resilience Strategies and Reading and Writing with Intention

Date
March 02, 2026
Time
1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET

Micro-resilience is about learning to reset after small, everyday challenges by clarifying what matters most, refreshing your body and mind, and staying grounded through intentional action. In this workshop, you'll explore how to align your reading and writing routines with your natural energy patterns and values. Discover how to work with your chronotype (are you a morning lark, a third bird, or a night owl?), utilize uni-tasking to boost focus, and establish accountability structures that support sustainable academic momentum. You'll leave with practical strategies to read and write with greater clarity, intention, and resilience throughout your graduate journey.

TMU graduate students and postdocs from all disciplines are invited to attend! This session qualifies for the Future Smart program.
