Recruiting on the road
This fall, the YSGPS Admissions team has been busy spreading the word about graduate education at TMU.
In addition to 13 campus events—including regular drop-in sessions at the SLC—admissions and recruitment officers attended 10 off-campus education fairs at various Ontario universities, including Western, McMaster, Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier and the University of Toronto Mississauga and Scarborough campuses.
In September, YSGPS Admissions joined TMU at the Ontario Universities’ Fair (OUF) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. With more than 100,000 visitors over three days, the annual event is key for postsecondary recruitment.
“It was amazing to meet so many enthusiastic students and parents at OUF, and share how our unique graduate programs can advance their career journeys,” said YSGPS Admissions and Recruitment Officer Aina Arro.
The Admissions team also hosted five online webinars, including sessions on graduate funding and how to prepare a strong application.
