Shahram Moradi
Dr. Shahram Moradi, a postdoctoral researcher at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), specializes in photonics and semiconductor devices, with expertise in microfabrication, characterization, programming, and simulation. He gained experience as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Ottawa's Advanced Research Complex, focusing on III-V semiconductors for optical communications applications under Dr. Dolgaleva before joining Dr. Douplik’s team. During his UVic doctoral studies, Dr. Moradi, mentored by Dr. Saidaminove, focused on material discovery and high-throughput experimentation. At METU for his Master's, he studied dispersion engineering for Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). Besides research, Dr. Moradi was teaching Advanced Programming Concepts with C++.
