Mehrdad Ebrahimi received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Malayer University, Malayer, Iran, in 2017. He subsequently completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2019. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2023. He has been a postdoctoral research fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, Canada, since 2024. His research interests include energy system optimization, the application of artificial intelligence in engineering, smart energy grids and technologies, and strategies for enhancing power systems’ reliability and resiliency.
