Garima Malik

Garima Malik is a versatile researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and software engineering. With a Ph.D. in NLP and Applied Software Engineering from TMU, she demonstrates expertise in leveraging advanced technologies to tackle real-world challenges. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a master's degree in Data Science and Analytics from TMU, where she worked as a Research Data Scientist, collaborating with industry giants like IBM Canada, Unilever Canada, and Statistics Canada on various machine learning and data science projects. Currently, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, she collaborates with Blees AI on pioneering research involving generative AI for automated essay scoring tasks.
