Can optimism start with asking the right questions? Hope combines the belief that the future can be better than the past, combined with building a sense of agency and then creating plans to make it happen. In this session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of hope and how to turn it into a strategic advantage by reframing your mindset, tuning into your strengths, and visualizing your future goals. Through creative pathway mapping and flexible planning tools, you’ll break big goals into doable steps and stay connected to your “why,” even when motivation dips.

TMU graduate students and postdocs from all disciplines are invited to attend! This session qualifies for the Future Smart program.
