Want to work smarter, not harder? This workshop combines emotional intelligence (EQ) and AI tools through the lens of metacognitive learning, helping you develop awareness of how you think, feel, and approach studying. You’ll learn how emotional self-awareness can reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance professional communication. Then, we’ll explore how AI tools like Elicit, Unriddle/Anara, and Speechify can support your academic reading and writing by offering structure, clarity, and strategic feedback.
Through guided reflection and hands-on exploration, you’ll walk away with tools to manage your mindset and sharpen your study techniques, all while using technology and emotional awareness to your advantage in graduate school and beyond.
TMU graduate students and postdocs from all disciplines are invited to attend! This session qualifies for the Future Smart program.
