CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    User Impact: None expected.

    Upgrading network switches for KHSE - 2nd and 3rd floors.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at KHSE 2nd and 3rd floors for this upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on these floors during this time.
  • Monday, December 22, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
    Upgrading network switches for SBB - 2nd floor.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at SBB 2nd floor for this upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on these floors during this time.

    Upgrading network switches.
    User Impact: No outage is expected due to redundancy.
  • Monday, December 29, 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. 
    Network upgrade for SoM.
    User Impact: An outage is expected for up to 5 minutes per switch. This was communicated to SOM management and security, all parties are aware.
  • Monday, December 29, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  
    Upgrading TRS-2nd floor network switches.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected.
  • Friday, January 2, 10:00 p.m. to Saturday, January 3, 8:00 a.m. 
    Upgrading network switches.
    User Impact: No outage is expected due to redundancy.
  • Tuesday, January 20, 2026, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.     
    Renaming Online Courses and Organizations portlet to Learning Management Systems on my.torontomu portal.
    User Impact: None expected.
