CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages
Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.
No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

Updating network servers.
User Impact: No outage is expected, although long lived connections might get disconnected. - Thursday, July 24, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Updating Solidworks licensing service.
User Impact: Users won't be able to launch Solidworks during the move. - Thursday, July 24, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Updating Content 7.
User Impact: Content 7 Web Client will be down, as well as scheduled jobs and student uploads. Content 7 Desktop Client will remain up. Registrar's Office is aware and will communicate as needed. - Thursday, July 24, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Updating Constituo.
User Impact: This will cause an outage for Constituo Satellite. Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime. Registrar's Office is aware and will communicate as needed. - Friday, July 25, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Updating network servers.
User Impact: No outage is expected, although long lived connections might get disconnected. - Sunday, July 27, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Upgrading network switches in ENG - 2nd floor.
User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at ENG 2rd floor north for network switches upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on that floor this Sunday. - Sunday, July 27, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Updating network servers.
User Impact: No outage is expected, although long lived connections might get disconnected. - Tuesday, July 29, 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Updating application servers.
User Impact: Coldfusion and Java applications on *.cf.ryerson, prod.apps.ccs and the TAI application will not be available during this period. - Wednesday, July 30, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Updating Constituo.
User Impact: Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime. Registrar's Office is aware and will communicate as needed.
- Monday, August 11, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Upgrading Global Protect client software.
User Impact: Global Protect will update itself the next time a user connects to VPN. This will have happen in the background without user intervention. - Sunday, August 24, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Updating MyServiceHub.
User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related functions will be down during the outage. All non-production environments will have a brief outage throughout the day. - Sunday, August 31, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Updating eHR.
User Impact: eHR production and all related functions will be down during the outage. All non-prod environments will have a brief outage throughout the day.
