CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    Updating application server.
    User Impact: Access to TAI, Coldfusion and Java applications on *.cf.ryerson will be unavailable.
  • Thursday, May 7, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. 
    Updating Clockwork.
    User Impact: Clockwork users are asked to not use the system while this change is implemented and tested. 
  • Thursday, May 7, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
    Updating Constituo.
    User Impact: Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime. 
  • Thursday, May 7, 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
    Updating Content 7.
    User Impact: Content 7 Web Client will be down, as well as scheduled jobs and student uploads. 
  • Friday, May 8, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. 
    Updating CAS.
    User Impact: Access to CAS may be intermittent during this period. 
  • Friday, May 8, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. 
    Upgrading mass mail tool.
    User Impact: No access to Mass Mail Tool for about 10 minutes. Any scheduled mailings will resume shortly after.
  • Friday, May 8, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - EA
    Updating XMFax.
    User Impact: XMFax will be down during this period. 
  • Sunday, May 10, 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. 
    Updating CAS servers.
    User Impact: Access to all CAS and uPortal instances will be unavailable. Google Workspace, eHR, TMU-VPN, MyServiceHub and D2L cannot accept new login during the downtime. 
  • Sunday, May 10, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  
    Upgrading network switches in DSQ building.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at DSQ - 10th floor for the network switches upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on that floor during this time.
  • Tuesday, May 12, 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. 
    Updating UPO dashboards.
    User Impact: Users of UPO Dashboard/Reports will have no access during this time. 
  • Sunday, May 17, 8:00 a.m. to Monday, May 18, 8:00 p.m. 
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related functions will be down between 8 a.m.  and 1 p.m. during the outage on the 17th. All non-prod environments will have a brief outage throughout the day on the next day (18th).
  • Sunday, May 17, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 
    Shutting down Content 7 temporarily..
    User Impact: This affects uploads, deprovisioning, processes, forms, Experience (web client) and desktop client. 
  • Friday, May 22, 5:00 p.m. to Monday, May 25, 8:00 a.m. 
    Upgrading eHR.
    User Impact: eHR production and all related functions will be down during the outage window.
  • Sunday, June 7, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 
    Updating eHR.
    User Impact: eHR production and all related functions will be down during the outage. All non-prod environments will have a brief outage throughout the day.
