CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    Updating BPEL application.
    User Impact: BPEL application will be down during the change. Finance will not be able to exchange information through BPEL services during the BPEL downtime.
  • Monday, December 15, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. 
    Updating Solidworks licensing.
    User Impact: Users won't be able to launch software during upgrade.
  • Tuesday, December 16, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. 
    Updating SPSS licensing.
    User Impact: Users won't be able to use SPSS Statistics.
  • Tuesday, December 16, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. 
    Updating Constituo.
    User Impact: Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime.  CCS is working with RO to coordinate - RO is responsible for any needed communication.
  • Tuesday, December 16, 8:10 a.m. to 8:20 a.m.   
    Updating UPO server.
    User Impact: During upgrading, UPO databases/tables are not available, end users have been notified.
  • Monday, December 29, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  
    Upgrading TRS-2nd floor network switches.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected.
  • Tuesday, January 20, 2026, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.     
    Renaming Online Courses and Organizations portlet  to Learning Management Systems on my.torontomu portal.
    User Impact: None expected.
