CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

Additional Scheduled Changes

  • Thursday, May 29, 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. 
    Upgrading DCC Podium wireless access points (floors 1 to 8).
    User Impact: None expected. AP's will be upgraded in small batches at random to prevent any one area lack any coverage.
  • Monday, June 2, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 
    Updating TAI system.
    User Impact: The Pentaho TAI reporting system will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade process. End users have been notified in advance about the expected outage. 
  • Thursday, June 5, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.  
    Applying assorted fixes and features to Adobe AEM.
    User Impact: AEM author production needs to be restarted between 6:30 am and 8:00 am. https://www.torontomu.ca won't be affected.
  • Thursday, June 5, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. 
    Updating student application server.
    User Impact: Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime. Registrar’s Office to send any needed communication.
  • Saturday, June 28, 12:00 a.m. to Monday, June 30, 1:30 a.m.  
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related services will be down during the outage.  STG/SUP will be unavailable on Sat. June 28th & Sun. June 29th.
