CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    Reimaging all Podium computers in CCS managed classrooms.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Sunday, September 21, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Upgrading network switches in ENG - 2nd floor North.
    User Impact: All network devices will be disconnected. No service impact since there’re no activities on that floor this Sunday.
  • Tuesday, September 23, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
    Upgrading Coldfusion server.
    User Impact: All Coldfusion apps will be down during the outage, and systems relying on Coldfusion apps such as CFCentral will be impacted.
  • Wednesday, September 24, 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    Upgrading TAI dashboards.
    User Impact: This change will only impact TAI Dashboard/Report users
  • Friday, September 26, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
    CAS update.
    User Impact: CAS will not be available for about 5-10 minutes during this period.
  • Sunday, September 28, 1:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
    Upgrade Servicenow.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Tuesday, September 30, 12:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
    Decommissioning TMU Mobile web app (m.torontomu.ca).
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Saturday, October 25, 12:00 a.m. to Tuesday, October 28, 1:00 a.m.
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production & UAT and all related services will be down during the outage.
  • Sunday, November 2, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (eHR) and 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (MyServiceHub)
    Patching eHR and MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: Brief outage for eHR web services.
