AVP International's Global Learning Award Recipients
The AVP International's Global Learning Award recognizes an individual or team (faculty or staff) who have made significant contributions to Global Learning at Ryerson. The recognized activity or leadership can take place either on campus or abroad.
Individual recipients receive a certificate and a one-time monetary award of $2,000 (subject to applicable deductions). Team recipients (a group of two to ten individuals) receive individual certificates and a total one-time monetary award of $3,000 (subject to applicable deductions) to be shared equally among members.

Sadia Kamran and Sandra Chung have enhanced The Creative School’s global reach during the pandemic through a swift re-envisioning of international opportunities with new virtual global learning initiatives including Ryerson's first virtual exchange program.
Sadia is the Manager, International Learning and Engagement, and Sandra is the International Coordinator. Together they manage a diverse portfolio of 40+ international partners, activities and learning opportunities. From semester abroad exchanges and short-term travel experiences across the continents to virtual co-creation opportunities. They have an extensive background in strategic partnership development, tackling complex projects with a keen eye to access and inclusion.
