AEM Reports Tool
What you can do with the AEM Reports Tool:
- Run reports on assets, pages, and authors (tags coming soon)
- Find and analyze all pages and assets across your website(s)
- View detailed information such as last edited date, publish status, editor details, titles, and template types (tags coming soon)
- Identify oversized or non-compliant files
- See who is assigned to which site(s)
- Keep track of authors assigned to your groups
- Create reports for audits, compliance, or decision making
Search & Replace
The search and replace tool was developed to help AEM authors locate and replace common branded terms. Terms can be replaced in webpages and in DAM assets (title/description).
The tool supports the following scenarios:
- Local searches: Search and replace branded terms within a sites(s) an author has access to.
- Global searches: Request specific branded term replacements in websites outside of an author's group permissions. These requests are viewed and approved by the site authors only.
Alt Text Dashboard
The alt text dashboard is a tool that helps web authors identify images that require alternative text. The dashboard also provides an option to mark appropriate images as ‘decorative’.
Where is the dashboard?
The alt text dashboard is available in the university's web content management system, AEM.
The dashboard can be accessed on the start page after an author has logged into the AEM system. The blue notification badge next to the dashboard icon indicates the number of images missing alternative text in an author's websites.
