- The transition to touch is a user interface change, not a system change.
- All sites and all users must complete their site transitions before October 15, 2021.
- Not all websites will transition at the same time. Site owners can book a date that is convenient for them.
- Site owners and authors are responsible for requesting a site transition date after all authors of a site(s) have completed the Touch UI training.
- Transition Checklist
Adding new users to a site before the transition to Touch:
- To add a new user to a site before the transition, they must complete the original AEM online course (no longer available) that uses the classic user interface. They will also have to complete the Touch User Interface training in preparation for the transition.
Adding new users to a site after the transition to Touch:
- To add a new user to a site after the transition, new users will have to complete the Touch User Interface training before they can be added as a new user.
