Darlene Dasent

Darlene Dasent, serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of University Health Network (UHN) – Canada’s Hospital and one of the top-ranked hospitals in the world. Sought out for her strategic acumen and unique multidisciplinary background spanning finance, accounting, supply chain, manufacturing, and consulting, Darlene plays a critical role as business enabler and key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership teams. 

Prior to UHN, Darlene worked with flagship organizations, including several years in public accounting with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Named to the Women’s Executive Network list of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2018, Darlene has over 30 years’ experience and has been instrumental in developing financial oversight models.

Darlene is a Chartered Accountant CPA, CA, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa and a psychology degree from Carleton University. She has also completed several high-profile leadership programs at the University of Toronto, Queen’s University, and Western University.
