Linda Grayson Administrative Leadership Award Recipients
The Linda Grayson Administrative Leadership Awards are in recognition of Linda Grayson, former Vice-President, Administration and Finance. These awards recognize two individuals (one Senior Administrator or Director and one MAC, CUPE 233 or OPSEU employee) who have demonstrated exceptional leadership through effectively managing a project, activity or team, to achieve outstanding results.
Recipients receive a certificate and a one-time monetary award of $2,000 (subject to applicable deductions).

Jaclyn Mika
The Creative School
Jaclyn Mika is the Communication and Events Coordinator for the School of Journalism. Since 2008 her position has progressed both upward and outward as she has honed her skills and compounded her contributions. Jaclyn has a well-deserved reputation for establishing herself as a vital and effective colleague who's contributions go above and beyond what is expected. It's rare that such a long-standing employee can thrive at such a continuous level of delivery and ambition for the goals of the organization. What drives Jaclyn is an empathic dedication to student experience, reputational management, and organizational efficiency.
Usha Srinivasan
Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic
Usha Srinivasan leads the Brampton Venture Zone, a priority initiative between the City of Brampton and Toronto Metropolitan University. Over the past 4 years, the zone has met or exceeded each of its 5-year targets. Usha's vision for the Zone and leadership of the team has resulted in outstanding achievements for the business community in Brampton and for TMU. In 2023, these included the Brampton Venture Expo with over 600 attendees, launch of the BReady Talent platform with the TMU Talent Accelerator team, and local community leadership developing the TMU presence ahead of the launch of the School of Medicine.
