Matthew McDonald is a Research Assistant at the Diversity Institute, where he conducts quantitative research on economic equity and inclusion. His work includes projects on financing women entrepreneurs, inclusive economic development, and the relationship between immigration and housing prices. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he was awarded the Siyuan Scholar full academic scholarship and conducted research on macroeconomic dynamics in inflation-linked bond markets. His expertise lies in data analysis, economic modeling, and policy research, with a focus on applying quantitative methods to real-world economic challenges.
