Changes from 05/28/2025 to 06/04/2025

  • Thursday, May 29, 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. - completed
    Upgrading DCC Podium wireless access points (floors 1 to 8).
    User Impact: None expected. AP's will be upgraded in small batches at random to prevent any one area lack any coverage.
  • Monday, June 2, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - completed
    Updating TAI system.
    User Impact: The Pentaho TAI reporting system will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade process. End users have been notified in advance about the expected outage.

  • Thursday, June 5, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed 
    Applying assorted fixes and features to Adobe AEM.
    User Impact: AEM author production needs to be restarted between 6:30 am and 8:00 am. https://www.torontomu.ca won't be affected.
  • Thursday, June 5, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. - completed 
    Updating student application server.
    User Impact: Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime. Registrar’s Office to send any needed communication.
  • Friday, June 6, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed 
    Updating system software on CAS and my.torontomu portal servers.
    User Impact: Access to CAS and my.torontomu portal maybe intermittent during this period.
  • Friday, June 6, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed 
    Updating TMU's Resource and Identity Management System.
    User Impact: Access to Activation, Self Service and Admin will be intermittent during this period.
  • Sunday, June 8, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - postponed to July 6, 2025
    Upgrading network switches in ENG - 2nd floor.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at ENG 2rd floor north for network switches upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on that floor this Sunday.
  • Sunday, June 8, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - completed 
    Upgrading network switches in RCC - 1st floor.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at RCC 1st floor east for network switches upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on that floor this Sunday.

    Updating application servers.
    User Impact: During the upgrade apps hosted on the hr.apps.ccs, ev1.cf, rodocs, and TAI servers will be unavailable for short periods of time.

    User Impact: Content 7 web client will be down including scheduled jobs and student uploads.

    Updating Constituo server.
    User Impact: Expected outage of Constituo during this time period. Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime.
  • Friday, June 20, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed 
    Upgrading WordPress to version 6.8.
    User Impact: The blog.torontomu.ca network will be unavailable briefly (<10 minutes) while the application updates. Subsequently, each blog will experience a brief (<1minute) outage as it is upgraded. A full system restart/outage is not required. There should be no impact to the end users during the testing phase.

    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at RCC 2rd floor east for network switches upgrade.

    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related services will be down during the outage.  STG/SUP will be unavailable on Sat. June 28th & Sun. June 29th.
  • Saturday, June 28, 12:00 a.m. to Monday, June 30, 1:30 a.m. - completed
    Outage for Content 7.
    User Impact: All access to Content 7 on production needs to be shut down as part of Campus Solutions outage. This affects uploads, processes, forms, Experience (web client) and desktop client.  Registrar's office will communicate as needed.None expected.

    Updating FIS servers.
    User Impact: FIS production services are not available during the downtime
