Changes from 06/30/2026 to 07/08/2026

    Updating TMU’s Resource and Identity Management System
    User Impact: Access to Activation, Self Service and Admin may be intermittent during this period.
  • Thursday, July 2, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 
    Updating Tomcat on application servers.
    User Impact: During the upgrade process apps hosted on the hr.apps, ev1.cf, and applications like TAI and RODocs will be unavailable for short periods of time.
  • Sunday, July 5, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
    Updating network switches in AMC theater.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at AMC theater for network switches upgrade.

    AEM - Assorted Fixes and Features.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Friday, July 10, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. - completed
    Upgrade CAS and my.torontomu portal software.
    User Impact: Access to CAS and my.torontomu portal may be intermittent during this period.
  • Monday, July 13, 5:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. - completed
    Clockwork maintenance.
    User Impact: Clockwork will be unavailable during this time.
  • Wednesday, July 15, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - completed
    RO SSRS maintenance.
    User Impact: RO SSRS reporting system will be unavailable during this time.

Changes from 07/15/2026 to 07/22/2026

  • Thursday, July 16, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  
    Updating MATLAB licensing.
    User Impact: Users will not be able to launch software during the upgrade. Brief outage is expected.
  • Thursday, July 16, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  
    Updating Solidworks licensing.
    User Impact: Users won't be able to launch software during upgrade.
  • Thursday, July 16, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  
    Upgrading Application servers.
    User Impact: Access to CCSHR, RODocs, TAI will be unavailable during the upgrade.
  • Thursday, July 16, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  
    Updating Constituo.
    User Impact: This will cause an outage for Constituo Satellite. Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime.  CCS is working with RO to coordinate - RO is responsible for any needed communication.
  • Sunday, July 19, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  
    Updating network at MAC building.
    User Impact: There’s no user impact due to redundancy, no downtime is expected.
  • Monday, July 20, 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. 
    Updating UPO dashboards/reports.
    User Impact: No access to UPO dashboards/reports during the upgrade. End users will be notified.
  • Monday, July 20, 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.  
    Updating TAI dashboards.
    User Impact: No access to TAI during the upgrade. End users will be notified.

Changes from 07/22/2026 to 07/29/2026

  • Thursday, July 23, 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. - completed
    Updating AEM production environment.
    User Impact:
    1. AEM Author production will not be available during this update window.
    2. The www.torontomu.ca will not be impacted as servers will be updated one leg at a time.
  • Thursday, July 23, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. - completed
    Updating Constituo Satellite.
    User Impact: This will cause an outage for Constituo Satellite. Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime.

    User Impact: Approx. 2 minutes of outage is expected.
  • Sunday, July 26, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - completed
    Updating MyServiceHub & eHR.
    User Impact:
    1. MyServiceHub production will not have an outage. There will be a brief outage for non-production environments.
    2. eHR production will have a brief outage for web services from 8 am to 9 am. All non-production environments will also have a brief outage on Sunday.

    Updating InstantID.
    User Impact: This will cause an outage for InstantID. Onecard office is aware of the outage and will coordinate comms and testing after the upgrade.
  • Tuesday, July 28, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - postponed to Aug 6th
    Upgrading Respondus Brightspace.
    User Impact: None expected. Users (instructors) who have active sessions may experience interruptions. Expecting less than a minute downtime

    Testing torontomu.ca backup server process.
    User Impact: Minimum impact due to updating one leg at a time. The AEM Author production server is not impacted.

    Updating Content 7 production.
    User Impact: Content 7 web app access, student document uploads, and scheduled jobs will be brought down for the duration of this update.  Access to the Content 7 desktop client will remain open.  The Registrar’s office is aware of the outage and will communicate as needed.

    User Impact: During the upgrade process apps hosted on ADS servers including TAI and RODocs, EV1 will be unavailable for short periods of time.

    User Impact: There will be an approximately 5-minute outage. Users will be asked to login again after the upgrade.

    Updating InstantID for Onecard Office.
    User Impact: InstantID to be down - this will prevent photo printing in the Onecard office for the duration of the execution.
