Oliver Okafor recognized for outstanding service by national accounting association

Congratulations to Ted Rogers School of Management Accounting Associate Professor Oliver Okafor for receiving two awards from the Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA). 

Okafor, who was appointed to the CAAA Board of Directors in 2023 and co-chaired its Annual Conference hosted at Toronto Metropolitan University, received awards for Outstanding Service as CAAA Board of Directors Member (2023–2025) and Outstanding Service as 2025 CAAA Annual Conference Co-Chair.

The CAAA is the national organization supporting accounting education and research in Canada. It owns a world-renowned journal, Contemporary Accounting Research (CAR), and the peer-reviewed journal Accounting Perspectives (AP).
