Ted Rogers School announces 2025 Top Co-op Employer Awards winners
The Ted Rogers Co-op program announced the winners of its second annual Top Co-op Employer Awards, which recognizes organizations that have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional, career-defining opportunities for our students.
These awards, presented by the Ted Rogers School of Management, are determined based on student work term evaluations and insights from the school's employer partnership team. This year, the 2025 Top Co-op Employer Awards will be presented to 36 companies in three categories, with employers across multiple industries from major banks, consulting firms and government agencies to law firms and retail brands. “The success of our students is directly tied to the quality of our industry partners,” said Cynthia Holmes, Dean of the Ted Rogers School. “The Top Co-op Employer Awards are our way of celebrating the companies that are shaping tomorrow's leaders and supporting one of our key strategic objectives: creating an inclusive and collaborative community dedicated to elevating business and society.”
“The commitment of our co-op employers to our students is exemplary, providing them with invaluable, practical experience that bridges the gap between academic theory and professional practice,” she adds. “We are grateful for their continued partnership and investment in the future of Canadian business.”
Winning employers are invited to send two representatives from their company to a complimentary Ted Rogers School Executive Education Xcelerator workshop. They also receive a digital badge recognizing their company’s achievement.
The Ted Rogers School is home to Canada’s largest business co-operative education program with 3,000+ student participants. Designed in collaboration with industry leaders, the program ensures students are equipped with the skills to meet the changing needs of today’s business world.
On average, students who participate in the Ted Rogers Co-op program earn nearly $56,000 over a 16-month work term. In the past eight years, the program has, through its employers, helped students earn $188 million.
