Ted Rogers School of Management recognized as a top sales university
For the third year in a row, the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University made the Sales Education Foundation’s “Top Universities for Professional Sales Education" (external link, opens in new window) list for its Sales Leadership Program.
The Ted Rogers School was only one of three Canadian schools to make the list. To be included on the list, sales programs must offer a minimum of three sales-specific courses, receive accreditation from an external source and have university recognition of the program.
“Sales and marketing are among the specializations most highly sought after by employers in Canada today, and it is crucial that Canadian business students receive training in how to sell ethically and how to lead successful sales teams with integrity,” says Dr. Karen Peesker, Director of the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program. This is why the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program was created at the Ted Rogers School.
Launched in 2018, the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program provides specialized experiential learning opportunities for emerging sales leaders aimed at developing professional sales skills. It is one of the first programs of its kind offered at an English-speaking Canadian university.
The program includes the Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team, which has been bringing home many honours from North American case competitions. This year, the team came in second overall at the U.S. National Shore Sales Challenge and finished 8th overall at the U.S. National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC).
