DECA Ryerson

Congratulations to members of DECA Ryerson for their successful team and individual performances at this year’s DECA U Canada National Conference.

DECA is an international student network focused on instilling professionalism in young people and preparing them for the challenges of business. DECA Ryerson is an award-winning chapter of students who strive to reach the height of academic, social and professional success.

At this year’s DECA U Canada National Conference, which took place virtually from January 15 to 18, 2021, every Canadian university with a DECA Chapter had individuals and teams of two competing in case competitions across a variety of categories, such as Fashion & Retail Management, Management Consulting, Accounting, Sports & Entertainment and Marketing.

DECA Ryerson, which had 158 students competing at this year’s event (145 from the Ted Rogers School of Management), won the Chapter of the Year award. This award is presented to the Canadian University with the most engaged delegates, as demonstrated through attending events, social media engagement and winning case competitions.
