TRSM Team Wins STRIVE Case Competition

Congratulations to TRSM students Bavitthran Kathirgamanathan (Accounting), Nishat Tasmin (Economics), Michael Porretta (Finance), Thejvir Bhattii (Finance) and Estella (Poying) Tse (Accounting) on winning the STRIVE Case Competition on September 23!

STRIVE (external link)  is Toronto’s largest undergraduate accounting conference, hosted by the Association of Accountancy at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

The STRIVE conference aims to foster student growth, provide unique opportunities for undergraduate accounting students to apply their classroom knowledge to the real world and promote the accounting profession.

Yi Feng, Associate Professor and Chair of Finance at the School of Accounting & Finance, said the STRIVE victory “showcased the quality of TRSM students and are a credit to the faculty.”
