International Student Support (ISS) works to foster a sense of belonging and community for all students who are new to Canada as well as for those students seeking a global experience on campus.
We welcome and support newcomers to Canada as they adjust to the new Canadian environment and culture. International Student Support will connect you to Toronto Metropolitan University’s vibrant campus community, and support you in reaching your academic, personal, and professional goals.
Our team of International Student Advisors are Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) or Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) who can help through group immigration advising, drop-in hours and one-on-one personal development appointments.

Important Dates/Notices
- Welcome Appointment for Winter 2026 international students will be available from January 5th - February 6th, 2025!.
- To book your appointment please fill out the Winter 2026 ISS Mandatory Welcome Appointment Form (external link) (Welcome Appointment Booking Guideline (external link) ). You’ll receive a confirmation email after completing the form with the necessary meeting link.
