StrikeUP Canada is a digital conference convening women entrepreneurs and the women entrepreneurship ecosystem, with a united vision of equity and inclusive economic growth through entrepreneurship. The theme of the 2025 event is “The Resiliency of Women Entrepreneurs.” Join Wendy Cukier, founder and academic director of the Diversity Institute and the academic research director of the Future Skills Centre, for a session titled “Reaping the benefits and managing the risks: Adopting responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace.” This session will discuss how the use of AI has transformed the workplace as Canadian businesses face barriers to AI adoption, difficulty finding employees with the necessary skills and expertise to support the integration of this technology into their operations, a lack of knowledge of available AI tools, as well as related ethical and privacy concerns. Cukier will discuss the latest research findings on AI in the workplace and its effect on businesses.
