The Ted Rogers School of Management Dean's List recognizes undergraduate students' outstanding academic achievement in a given semester. Students achieving this honour receive a letter of congratulations from the Dean and a notation on their academic transcript.
Assessed at the end of each academic term. To be eligible, a student at the time of assessment:
Must achieve a term GPA of 3.50 or higher
Must complete 4 billing units in a single term
Must have a clear academic standing
Must be assigned final course grades in all term courses, and have no:
F grades
INC (Incomplete) grades, or
Disciplinary notations assigned in the assessed term
Part-time program students
Assessed once per academic year at the end of the spring/summer term, with an additional assessment in May for students who have applied to graduate for spring convocation. To be eligible, a student at the time of assessment:
Must achieve a GPA of 3.50 or higher
Must complete 4 billing units over the academic year (i.e. fall, winter, and spring/summer terms)
Must have a clear academic standing in the terms being assessed
Must be assigned final course grades in all term courses, and have no:
F grades
INC (Incomplete) grades, or
Disciplinary notations assigned in the academic year
Ted Rogers School of Management recognizes the following two scenarios in which students can request special consideration to be awarded the Dean’s List:
Academic Accommodations of students approved for a reduced course load (AAS-Registered Students). In addition to meeting all other award criteria, these students have an updated minimum number of billing units:
Full-time programs: Three (3) billing units in the term
Part-time programs: Three (3) billing units in the academic year
Students with late or outstanding academic record updates, including grade or standing changes at the time of the assessment for Dean’s List. After the academic record update, a student may have become eligible for the Dean's list having now met all requirements.
