In sales competitions we TRUST
Congratulations to the Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team (TRUST) for their successful showings at the International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC) and the RNMKRS Virtual Artificial Intelligence Competition.
At the ICSC, which took place in a virtual format November 11-13, 2020, TRUST Captain and team member Camilla Racco placed in the top 20 rankings in the case competitions, while team member Nikola Terzic placed in the top 40. This year’s event featured 156 students, faculty and sponsors representing 80 top sales universities.
“This was our first time at ICSC, and I am very proud of our Ryerson students for advancing so far in the rounds in our first year at this event,” says Dr. Karen Peesker, Director of the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program. “We ranked 12 out of 80 top universities in the individual role play competition, which is a wonderful achievement in our first year at this competition”
Other members of the TRUST group supported Racco and Terzic throughout the competition, including Sales Leadership Program Coordinator Sheniese Van Heer, in learning the product and advancing throughout the rounds to their success.
“We added yet another successful competition to our roster that we can look forward to sending students to for years to come!” explains Dr. Peesker. “We are also grateful to our TRUST team sponsor DHL for the support and encouragement.”
At the RNMKRS Virtual Artificial Intelligence Competition, a virtual worldwide sales competition held November 18-19, 2020, TRUST Developmental team member Victoria Chan achieved the award for top international student. She ranked among the top 5% of students competing in the RNMKRS Sales Competition, which had over 3,400 participants for this year’s Rising Star event. In addition, Chan placed in the Top 150 out of over 2,100 students in the official RNMKRS Competition.
Ryerson had 38 students from the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program participating at the RNMKRS event this year.
