TRSM graduate team dominates at International Graduate Competition

Congratulations to the TRSM graduate team who won three of the four categories at the International Graduate Competition hosted by HEC Montreal, landing them a second place finish overall at the event. 

The TRSM team, made up of Christina Ma (MBA), Andrew Bailey (MBA), Maha Waseem (MScM) and Sohrab Mashhadizadeh (MScM), competed in the 8th annual event against teams from RMIT University (Australia), University of Sheffield (UK), Deusto Business School (Spain), National Chenochi University (Taiwan) and HEC Montreal. 

The theme of this year’s competition, held April 27 to May 3, 2019, was to develop a strategy and action plan for Montreal’s AI community to make them a global leader by 2050.  The TRSM squad, the only new team at the event, won for Best Written Paper, Best Team Spirit and Best Presenter (Bailey).
