A terrific night…hands down!

Great leadership and strong connections to the business and philanthropic communities have been hallmarks of the Ted Rogers School of Management, and both were highlighted at a “Meet & Greet” event at TRSM.

A distinguished group of benefactors and members of TRSM’s advisory councils got a chance on Tuesday to meet Dean Daphne Taras, who assumed leadership of Canada’s largest English-language business school this summer. Ryerson President Mohamed Lachemi, who also attended, thanked the advisory council members for their support and insight.

One of the highlights of the evening? Watching Dean Taras good-naturedly challenge Scotiabank’s Shafiq Shamji to an arm-wrestling match.
