Incident details

A TMU community member reported to TMU Security that an individual attempted to follow them inside a TMU building. The community member denied them entry and the individual threatened to harm them and then left. Security attended but could not locate the individual. The community member declined assistance from Toronto Police Service. 

Description information

The individual was described as male, with a light complexion, is 20 to 30 years old and approximately 152 cm (5’). They had short light brown hair. They were wearing a blue coat and blue jeans.

WalkSafe Program

Available to all community members, this free service pairs you with a uniformed security crew member to escort you to various locations on campus, including nearby parking lots, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Centre for Student Development and Counselling

CSDC offers free, confidential counselling services in a professional and friendly environment to TMU students.
