Incident details
A TMU community member reported to TMU Security that an individual approached them begging for change. The community member declined and the individual knocked the community member’s items out of their hand and left. Security located the individual and barred them from campus. The community member declined assistance from Toronto Police Service.
Description information
The individual was described as male, with a light complexion, approximately 55 to 70 years old and approximately 168 cm (5’6”). They had medium-length grey hair and a grey full beard. They were wearing a patterned long sleeved shirt, black sweatpants and black sneakers.

An assault is when someone intentionally applies force (or attempts or threatens to apply force) to another person without their consent.
