Incident details
TMU Security observed an individual taking belongings from a member of the public who was sleeping. Security attended and the member of the public confirmed their belongings were stolen. The individual was confronted and brandished an edged object towards security and the member of the public and fled from campus. Toronto Police Service were notified and attended.
Description information
The individual was described as male, with a light complexion, approximately 30 to 40 years old and approximately 180 cm (5’11”). They were wearing a grey rain jacket, camouflage shorts and blue sneakers.
