Incident details
A Ryerson community member reported to Ryerson Security that an individual approached them and harassed them. The community member entered a nearby building and the individual followed and continued to harass them. The community member soon after left the building and when they noticed the individual continued to follow, they entered another nearby building. The individual approached the community member who informed them that they did not want to talk with them. The individual then left the area. No visible injuries were reported. The community member declined assistance from Toronto Police Service.
Description information
The individual was described as being male with a dark complexion, approximately 40 to 50 years old and approximately 173 cm (5’8”). They were wearing a blue top and dark blue jeans.

Criminal harassment is to knowingly engage in conduct that causes a person to reasonably fear for their safety or the safety of someone they know, including following, repeated communication, or persistently watching someone where they live, work or play.
