Class Descriptions

All virtual classes are small-space friendly!

Taking a virtual muscle conditioning class?  What type of resistance equipment do you need?

Traditional resistance equipment like dumbbells, barbells, tubing, and weight plates can be used, in addition to common household items such as water bottles, soup cans, detergent jugs or other items. And don’t forget, body weight can also be used for many exercises as well!

 

Class Description Difficulty
Barre Barre uses a variety of dance movements from ballet, with pilates style exercises to strengthen your body. With a strong emphasis on posture and alignment, improving balance, grace and coordination. Difficulty Level: Slightly Challenging.  Sweat Level: Definitely Getting Warm.
Cardio Dance Party From Bhangra & Bollywood, to Hip Hop, Latin Dance and everything in between, this class has something for everyone in an energy packed workout, so much fun that you’ll actually forget you’re working out! Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
DanceFire This dance fitness workout is intended to keep your body moving while listening to today’s latest music. DanceFIRE infuses bursts of high energy dance moves with resistance training and core conditioning, guaranteed to improve your wellbeing and put a smile on your face as you jam to some of your favourite beats! Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
FUNctional FULL BODY A super charged fun full body workout! Move away from traditional exercises and use  equipment found in our very own FUNCTIONAL TRAINING ROOM! The equipment & the exercises focus on replicating the body’s natural movement patterns to build true strength. The circuit style keeps you moving & motivated putting the FUN in FUNctional! Difficulty Level: Challenging.  Sweat Level: Got my sweat on!
Hip Hop Fitness Bring your best moves for this high energy dance-fitness class highlighting Hip Hop and Funk styles taught to a compilation of popular Hip Hop and R&B music. Come learn some dance steps and find your style! Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
Reality Kickboxing Jab, cross, uppercut, hook with various kicks and footwork for an awesome workout in an encouraging environment. Focus mitts & shields will be used to give you a reality based kickboxing experience but always with a heavy dose of fun. Get your defense on! (Personal boxing gloves & wraps are optional.) Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
Spin Want to take your cardio up a notch? Join our full 45 min spin class and get your heart pumping! Difficulty Level: Very Challenging.  Sweat Level: I'm drenched!
Spin Express New to spin or think that 30 minutes is more than enough time on an indoor bike? You are not alone! This class is for you! All the cardiovascular benefits of a regular spin class in less time. Win-Win! Difficulty Level: Challenging.  Sweat Level: Got my sweat on!
Spin Express + Stretch After spending 25-30 cycling-packed minutes, take 10-15 minutes to give your body the stretch & TLC it deserves! Difficulty Level: Challenging.  Sweat Level: Got my sweat on!
Spin + Core + Stretch Take care of your body head to toe with 25-30 minutes of cycling, 5-10 min of core work to help with posture and a 10-15 minute full body stretch! Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
Stretch + Flex This class works as a form of active meditation where you can focus on your body and your breath, as we stretch everything from the head to the toes. Stretching builds both strength and flexibility, helping our bodies to stay healthy.  Difficulty Level: Easy, Sweat Level: Warming Up A Little.
TMC Total Muscle Conditioning! A full body strengthening class with exercises varying class to class in order to keep your muscles guessing & to deliver an enjoyable experience every time!  Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
TRX + CIRCUIT A revolutionary workout method that uses your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability. Infused into a circuit format that challenges your full body, this class truly delivers on fun & fitness. Difficulty Level: Challenging.  Sweat Level: Got my sweat on!
YIN YOGA A slow-paced, passive type of yoga that incorporates long holds and deep breaths for a stretch that gets deep into the muscles. During these prolonged periods of stillness, residual tension and stress melts away. Yin Yoga is an excellent practice for beginners by eliminating tricky transitions between poses. Those recovering from an injury or looking to lengthen versus strengthen will feel right at home in a Yin yoga class. Difficulty Level: Easy, Sweat Level: Warming Up A Little.
Yoga A traditional style that uses classical yoga postures and stretches with a focus on alignment and breath to develop flexibility and relaxation at a comfortable pace. Difficulty Level: Slightly Challenging.  Sweat Level: Definitely Getting Warm.
YOGA FLOW Yoga Flow emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by the power of breath. The pace can vary in this style of yoga but it is often faster with sound progression from basic to complex, but is also incredibly adaptable for all levels. Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat! 
Zumba A dance fitness class that is based on Latin dances and international music - salsa, merengue, rumba, reggaeton, soca and so much more!  An ultra fun  body. With a strong emphasis on posture and alignment, improving balance, grace and coordination.& exciting way to move your body while getting all the physical & mental health benefits. Difficulty Level: Moderate.  Sweat Level: I'm breaking a sweat!
