Among us is an online multiplayer game that can be played on your mobile device or PC. There can be up to 10 players per game. Players are automatically assigned a role as a Crewmate or an Imposter. The goal of Crewmates is to identify the imposter, eliminate them and do tasks found on the map. Crewmates win when all the imposters are eliminated or all the tasks are completed! Participants will receive a Zoom meeting link 30 minutes prior to the start time to join
Similar to the reality show Family Feud, participants will either sign up with a team of five, or as an individual (and will be allocated a team at the time of event). The rounds consist of a survey question being asked, and two people from each team will face off, and whoever guesses the highest scored answer, will get a chance to guess the rest of the answers as a team. The team with the highest score at the end of the game, wins overall! Participants will receive a zoom meeting 1 hour prior to the start time to join in.
The Steps Challenge is an activity for participants to do remotely at their own pace to challenge themselves and meet their own personal goals. Volleyball, a game played by two teams, with 3 players (mixed gender rules) playing on a side, in which the players use their hands to bat a ball back and forth over a high net, trying to make the ball touch the court within the opponents' playing area before it can be returned.
Badminton is a sport played using racquets. The purpose is to hit a birdie across a net, similar to tennis, and when the birdie hits the floor or goes “out” it is a point for the opposite team. Although badminton may be played with larger teams, we will be playing "singles".
Our hope is to target all women interested in getting active and wanting to participate in a variety of sports. All program years and anyone interested in getting involved. We really wish to target first year students as habits formed and connections made in first year are more likely to persist across a student’s time at University. Overcoming barriers to participation amongst women in their first year has potential to have a lasting and positive impact
Dodgeball is a team sport in which players on two teams try to throw balls and hit their opponents, while avoiding being hit themselves. Try to eliminate the entire opponents team to win by hitting them below the shoulders with a dodgeball, staying on your side and hopefully you still have remaining players. Come enjoy the fun of team, strategy and Dodging !!!!
Table tennis, also called (trademark) Ping-Pong, is a ball game similar in principle to tennis and played on a flat table divided into two equal courts by a net fixed across its width at the middle. You use a paddle and a lightweight ball.
