TMU Recreation helps you integrate movement into your routine. Why? Regular physical activity benefits your academic and work performance, and your well-being, and helps you make connections to others in our community.

As hard as it may seem at first, finding ways to dedicate time to fitness and health helps you:

  • be more creative;
  • think more clearly;
  • reduce stress;
  • study better;
  • and maintain positive relationships.

At our two fitness centers, the Recreation & Athletics Centre (RAC) and the Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC), as well as through various initiatives on campus, we strive to provide safe and inclusive spaces where you can engage in a wide range of physical activities.
