Research, Planning & Assessment
The Research, Planning and Assessment unit provides equity data and diversity resources to identify and address systemic barriers affecting students, faculty and staff from TMU’s equity-deserving groups. Our work enables more intentional, informed and equitable decision-making across the university.
What we do
We support TMU’s equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives by:
- Collecting, analyzing and reporting diversity data to illuminate opportunities for growth and impact.
- Tracking progress on advancing equity, diversity and inclusion across the university.
- Coordinating the development of OVPECI plans, projects, tools, initiatives and proposals that strengthen EDI efforts.
- Researching and sharing best practices for advancing equity, diversity and inclusion at TMU and within the university sector in Canada.
