You’re invited to celebrate International Women’s Day with the Office of the Vice-President, Equity, Community and Inclusion (OVPECI) at a networking event to build connections, celebrate and uplift women and gender diverse people.

Dr. Tanya (Toni) De Mello (Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion) and Dr. Roberta Iannacito-Provenzano (Provost and Vice-President, Academic) will engage in a dynamic conversation and discuss strategies to cultivate and sustain a network of solidarity. Then, we invite participants to join group discussions about influential women who have shaped their lives.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn what TMU is doing to support a thriving workplace and explore themes of self-advocacy and mentorship amongst women and gender diverse people.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be offered, with thanks to the Indigenous Education Council.

This event is wheelchair accessible and live captioning/ASL interpretation will be provided

The university is committed to the accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities. If you require any additional accessibility accommodations to ensure your full participation, please email the OVPECI at equity@torontomu.ca
